New pics are in...
They're pics of my city, my apartment...my Geishas ;) They are actually just a bunch of kimono-clad festival goers, I went to a fireworks show in Sendai on the 5th. Anyways, the link is on the right, enjoy.
It's good to hear from you. I hope accounting boot camp is going well, when I read that I got a mental picture of people high stepping through tires while crunching numbers.
Yeah, my apartment is bigger than I expected. But, it's amazing what kind of difference a wider and higher angle can do, it looked like my predecessor was standing in the middle of the room and aiming at the floor when she took her pictures. And yeah, it's real nice to have my own place but it almost feels like I have a roommate, I live next door to another ALT.
Thanks for the invite. It's nice to have an open door when you have an open future.
I start teaching on the 24th, but before that, I have to give a speech at an opening ceremony on the 23rd...in Japanese. Heh, wish me luck. And yeah, a couple other people told me it's a pain to post, sorry about that, I'll see if there's anything I can do on my end.

Anyways, I hope all else is well. God bless.
